Brother’s Keeper is a volunteer grounds keeping program that assists with the grounds-keeping.

You may adopt a section that includes your loved ones and care for neighboring lots. Perhaps you just want to be involved and would like to adopt a section to care for.  You may volunteer as little or as much as you wish.

There are NO paid employees at Nemasket Hill Cemetery. Our cemetery is a private, lot ownership cemetery. ALL the people you see working are volunteers.

Each burial space is sold with perpetual care. Given the age of our cemetery (back to 1661), paid perpetual care can only last so long. Endowment funds do deplete over time due to the costs to run the cemetery.

If you want to help but do not have the time or the physical energy, you may donate to assist in the general upkeep, because Nemasket Hill Cemetery is a 501c13, donations are tax deductible.  Make checks payable to Nemasket Hill Cemetery and mail to P.O. Box 31, Middleboro, MA 02346. THANK YOU!
